I want to take a moment to apologize for not using the Komoot app to track my activities recently. I understand that many of you follow my progress and rely on the updates from the app to stay connected with my adventures. Unfortunately, there have been several reasons for this lapse in tracking.
Firstly, there have been instances where I simply forgot to start the app before beginning my rides. As someone who is always on the go, it’s easy to get caught up in the excitement of the moment and overlook the small yet important step of activating the tracker.
Secondly, there have been technical issues with my Apple Watch. At times, the watch was not sitting correctly on my wrist, which caused the tracking to either be inaccurate or stop altogether. These interruptions were frustrating and led to incomplete records of my activities.
I understand that consistent tracking is important for those who follow my journey, and I deeply regret any inconvenience this may have caused. I am working on being more diligent about starting the app and ensuring that my equipment is properly set up before each ride.
Currently, I am spending the majority of my cycling time on the bike at the gym. This change in routine has also contributed to the inconsistency in my outdoor tracking. While indoor cycling sessions are just as intense and beneficial, they do not offer the same scenic routes and experiences that I typically share through Komoot.
Moving forward, I will strive to provide more regular updates and ensure that my rides, whether indoors or outdoors, are accurately tracked and shared. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
